Klang is now on your desktop. The Mac app is out in beta, and it records your meetings and lets you dictate wherever you write.

Record any meeting. Klang spots your meetings before they start. Send the Klang assistant, or record locally on your Mac with no meeting bot needed. It works with Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, any other app and in-person meetings, with a live transcript as you go.

Dictate anywhere. Hold a key and speak, and Klang types it out in your email, chat, notes or docs.

Snippets. Save the words you repeat, like your signature or a meeting intro, and insert them by saying their name.

Klang for Mac needs Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 13 or later. Get started.

Klang now connects the people in your meetings. Name someone once in a transcript, and Klang recognises them in your other meetings and fills in their name automatically.

Name them once. Rename "Speaker 1" in any transcript, and Klang takes it from there.

Always know where a name came from. Every name is marked as either named by you or named automatically.

Everyone in one place. The new People tab lists everyone you've named and how many conversations they've been part of. Open a person to see those conversations, or correct a name once and have it change everywhere.

Shared across your workspace. A name set by one colleague shows up for the whole team.

Open Preferences and choose how Klang looks under Appearance:

• Light keeps Klang as it is today.
• Dark is easier on the eyes in a dim room or late in the day.
• System follows your device, so Klang switches when your computer does.

Every meeting produces something someone else needs: a summary for the team, a note for the CRM, an update for another system. Automations in Klang handle that delivery for you, every time, without you thinking about it. And with this update, setting one up takes minutes.

Pick a template, make it yours. Choose a template, adjust the structure to fit how you work, and decide the scope: all your team's meetings or just your own. Summaries land in Klang, or travel on to the tools you already use.

Your CRM, filled in for you. You decide exactly which fields and content follow along to your CRM, so the meeting note lands in the right format from the start. Finish a client call, and the record is already where your pipeline lives, structured the way you'd have written it.

A webhook for everything else. If your system isn't on the list, connect it anyway. Set up a webhook and tailor the call to how your system expects data, and Klang sends structured meeting output straight into it.

Think about the last difficult call you had. The useful part probably wasn't a single sentence. It was the shape of the whole thing. Where it stalled, what the other person kept circling back to, the moment it turned. That shape is data, it just doesn't survive in a plain transcript.

Klang is built to keep it. It captures the conversation, structures what mattered, and gives you somewhere to actually work with it. And it doesn't care where the conversation happens. A meeting at your desk, a call you take from your phone on the way out the door, all of it lands in the same place, structured the same way.

From there it's yours to use. Review it, search it, build on it inside Klang. And if you've already got your own setup, Klang connects out to the tools you work in too. Either way, the conversation stops disappearing the moment the call ends.

Klang now supports MCP, an open standard that lets AI assistants call tools on a remote server. Connect your assistant to your Klang workspace once, and from then on it can read your meetings, conversations and notebooks the same way it reads anything else you give it.

Ask a question in plain language and your assistant finds the right calls, reads them, and answers:

• "What action items came out of yesterday's meetings?"
• "Which deals had pricing pushback this month?"

It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client. Setup is a single URL.

We kept it read-only on purpose. Your assistant can browse and quote your content. It cannot edit, delete or share anything, and it only sees the one workspace you connect.

Custom glossary is live in Klang. It's been one of our most requested features for over a year.

Add your organization's terms in one shared list: names, abbreviations, jargon and product names. Klang learns the terms and uses them in transcriptions and summaries, for everyone in your organization.
