Klang, now on your desktop.
Klang sees when a meeting starts and records right on your computer, with no meeting bot. Hold down a key and talk, and Klang types the text wherever you are writing.
For Macs with Apple silicon and macOS 13 or later.
Meetings
Klang sees the meeting before it starts.
When you start a meeting in Google Meet, Zoom or Teams, Klang asks if you want to record. One click is enough. You follow the transcript live while you talk.
Send the assistant
If the meeting is in your connected calendar, the Klang assistant can join and record it for you.
Or record locally
Klang records the audio right on your Mac, in online meetings and when you're in the same room. No meeting bot shows up in the participant list.
Dictation
Hold down a key and talk.
Let go of the key and the text appears where your cursor is: in the email, the chat, your notes or the document. Klang removes filler words and adds the punctuation for you.
Choose your key
Fn, right ⌥ or a shortcut of your own.
Smart mode
Select some text and say how it should be rewritten. Or ask Klang to write something new.
Dictation works in the apps you already write in.
Snippets
Say one word. Get the whole text.
Save the things you type again and again, like your signature or how you usually open a meeting. Say the snippet's name and Klang types out the whole text.
Write it once
Save greetings, addresses and standard replies once.
Use it with your voice
Snippets work anywhere you dictate.
Everything ends up in your workspace.
Recordings from your Mac upload to Klang. The transcript and summary are waiting there, in the app and on the web.

Only audio, never your screen
Klang needs Screen Recording access to hear the others in the meeting, but it only records audio.

Your recordings are encrypted and stored in Europe. GDPR compliant. We never train AI models on your data.
Get started
Up and running in minutes

Download Klang
Open the file and drag Klang to the Applications folder.

Grant access
Allow Microphone and Screen Recording when Klang asks. Dictation also needs Accessibility access.

Sign in
Sign in through your browser. Klang then lives in the menu bar.

Choose your key
Open Dictation in the sidebar and choose which key you hold down.
