Notes without note-taking

An AI note taker that listens, so you can talk

Whoever takes the notes only half attends the meeting. Klang records the conversation, transcribes it, separates the speakers and drafts notes with a summary, decisions and to-dos. You read the draft, adjust and share.

01

What an AI note taker actually does

An AI note taker turns a conversation into a document you can act on. Not a wall of text: a transcript with named speakers, a short summary, the decisions as decisions, and the to-dos with owners.

The difference from taking notes by hand shows up twice. During the meeting, everyone gets to think instead of type. Afterwards, nothing depends on what one person managed to write down: the full conversation is there, and every sentence in the notes links to the exact spot in the recording.

02

How note-taking works in Klang

Three steps, none of them during the meeting:

  • Capture the conversation: let Klang's assistant join your Google Meet, Teams or Zoom call, record in the room with the mobile app, or upload a file afterwards. All common audio and video formats work.
  • Klang transcribes in 40+ languages, tells the speakers apart and drafts notes with a summary, decisions and next steps.
  • You read the draft against the transcript, adjust where needed and share. Every sentence stays linked to its place in the audio, so checking a detail takes seconds.

03

Notes are the start, not the result

After a few weeks the real value shows: every conversation is in one searchable place. Ask what was decided about a topic and Klang answers with a reference to the meeting and the exact moment, instead of you digging through old documents.

You can also set up recurring analyses: a weekly summary of all team meetings, open to-dos across every call, or the objections that keep coming up in customer conversations. Set it up once and it runs on every new recording.

04

Your conversations stay yours

Meetings contain personal data, so where the notes are made matters. Klang is built in Sweden and processes all data in Europe, offers a data processing agreement, never uses your conversations to train AI, and is ISO 27001:2022 certified.

For organizations whose recordings must not leave their own network, Klang also runs on-premise, fully offline if needed.

Taking notes by hand vs letting AI do it

Both end in a document. The difference is who works during the meeting, and what you can do with the notes afterwards:

An AI draft does not replace reading it: check decisions and owners before you share the notes.

Frequently asked questions

How does an AI note taker work?

It records the conversation, transcribes it, and uses AI to draft structured notes: a summary, the decisions and the to-dos. In Klang the speakers are separated automatically and every sentence links back to the audio, so you can verify anything before sharing.

Does it work with Google Meet, Teams and Zoom?

Yes. Connect your calendar and Klang's assistant joins your digital meetings and records them. You can also record in the room with the mobile app, or upload audio and video files afterwards.

Which languages does it support?

Klang transcribes in more than 40 languages, with particular care for European languages. Speaker separation and summaries work in all of them.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Your conversations are never used to train AI models. All data is processed in Europe, and Klang is ISO 27001:2022 certified.

What does it cost?

You can start for free, no credit card needed. What the free plan includes and what the paid plans cost is on the pricing page.
