AI meeting notes, written while you meet
Good meeting notes answer three questions: what was discussed, what was decided, and who does what by when. Klang drafts exactly that from a recording, in the meeting's own language, with the full transcript one click away.
01
What good meeting notes contain
The point of meeting notes is not to retell the conversation. It is to record the outcome so the work moves. Four parts cover almost every meeting:
- A summary in a few paragraphs, for people who were not there
- Decisions, written as results, separate from the discussion
- To-dos with an owner and a deadline each
- The exact wording, for when it matters later, with a link to the moment in the recording
02
How Klang writes them
Record the meeting: online through Klang's assistant in Google Meet, Teams or Zoom, in the room with the mobile app, or upload a file afterwards.
Klang transcribes, separates the speakers and drafts the notes: summary, decisions, to-dos. You read the draft, fix what needs fixing and share it. The transcript stays alongside, every sentence linked to its place in the audio, so 'is that really what we said?' takes seconds to answer.
03
Notes that answer questions
In Klang the notes are not a dead document. Ask a question about one meeting, or across all of them: what did we decide about pricing, which to-dos are still open, what did the customer object to. Answers come with citations to the meeting and the exact moment.
Recurring analyses take it further: a weekly digest of all team meetings, or a running list of open to-dos across every project, generated automatically as new meetings come in.
04
Before you share the notes
An AI draft is a draft. A one-minute check catches the errors that would otherwise live in the record forever:
- Are decisions separated from suggestions and discussion?
- Does every to-do have one clear owner and a realistic deadline?
- Are names, numbers and dates right? Click the sentence to hear the original.
- Is anything sensitive included that does not need to be?
What the draft looks like
An excerpt from an automatically drafted set of notes after a team meeting:
The team reviewed the launch status and adjusted the timeline. Open questions concern the customer feedback from the interviews.
The launch moves to 2 September. Anna shares the updated plan with the team by 16 August.
Erik compiles the feedback from the customer interviews and presents it at the next meeting. Due: 19 August.
